Celebration of the 42nd Teachers' Day, the Teaching Support & Student Aid Conference of Lee Yin Yee Education Foundation and Xinyi Foreign Language School Handover Ceremony Successfully Held

On September 10, 2026, on the occasion of the 42nd Teachers' Day, the Teaching Support & Student Aid Conference of Lee Yin Yee Education Foundation and the Handover Ceremony of Xinyi Foreign Language School—fully funded and constructed by Mr. Lee Yin Yee—were successfully held in Yuanshan Subdistrict, Longgang District, Shenzhen. Vice Chairperson of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC Wu Yihuan, Secretary of the CPC Longgang District Committee Yu Xiquan, Chairperson of the Longgang District Committee of the CPPCC Tang Xiangqun, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau Yuan Lei and other leading officials at all levels, Former Member of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Honorary Citizen of Shenzhen, Lifetime President of Lee Yin Yee Education Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xinyi Group Lee Yin Yee and Member of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC and Executive Director of Shenzhen Xinyi Holdings Group Co., Ltd. Li Peiya, together with representatives of award-winning teachers and students, attended the ceremony.

A total of 2,549 teachers and students, as well as 479 college students admitted through the national college entrance examination, were awarded at this ceremony. Meanwhile, the Xinyi Foreign Language School, delivered in this project, was built with a donation of RMB 210 million from Chairman Lee Yin Yee. The school will be jointly operated by Longgang District Education Bureau and Shenzhen Foreign Languages School. It marks the second public nine-year consistent school fully funded and donated by Chairman Lee Yin Yee in Longgang District.
